Common questions
How many lessons will I need?
It depends on the person. The DVSA says learners typically need around 45 hours of lessons plus about 22 hours of private practice. The two-hour assessment lesson gives you an honest idea of where you're at.
Do you teach in an automatic?
No, lessons are in a manual car. Passing in a manual means your licence covers both manual and automatic cars.
Do you do intensive courses?
Yes. Intensive courses run from 10 to 50 hours over consecutive days, from £310. There's also a semi-intensive option at 2.5 hours a day if you'd rather go a bit slower.
What do I need for my first lesson?
Your provisional driving licence and comfortable shoes. That's it. You'll start somewhere quiet and go at your own pace.
Will you pick me up?
Yes. Pick-up and drop-off from home, school, college or work anywhere in the areas above is included.
What if I need to cancel?
Please give at least 48 hours' notice. Lessons cancelled with less notice are charged in full.
